Our quest this morning involved a trip to the country and it was cold!
I thought about what I was trying to capture and what came to mind over and over was lines..The train, lines of the road, the squigly lines of the fence wire and the different lines on the barns. Then as we went up into the mountains, the idea of lines faded to thinking of cold..cold air, cold snow, the ice on the road that defeated our attempt to get to our tree easily. We eventually got out of our car and walked a mile in the snow to find a tree. I can find lines in all the photos though. Overall, my theme would be "lines".

"Lines" is a wonderful theme. Both natural and man created, lines are all around us.

Gorgeous images...I really like your theme, very clever and well executed.I see lines everywhere...I't interesting how one can become aware of little details lik ethis. The farm/ranch shots are lovely. I also like the processing of your images has a vintage feel to it.
Fabby!

What an adventure and with such a nice mission...the tree. The photos are great! I also like the rounded edges and there is something about the color of the first few shots. There seems to be a glow about them.

These are all wonderful- lines are everywhere aren't they? You've made me see them anew. I also like the different format treatments. I'm finally adding you to the link list on my blog, sorry for the delay.

i like your pictures here a lot, kyndale. photo assignments are the best! all creative assignments are actually, for me. they just get me out here, doing my thing in a way that i am sometimes just to lazy or depressed to do otherwise. anyhoo!

I am in love withthose first 6 photos!
I have wanted to stop and shoot those train cars for MONTHS now. I need to just make a date with my camera and do it already.
