Some scenes from yesterday.
Paper shredding for recycling day because life doesn't stop on Thanksgiving. And it was fun :)
Weaving with shredded bank statements. Fun!
Our apple candle holders inspired by Rae.
And finally dinner. Scenes not pictured here: Yoga class in the morning to set me right. A wicked game of Ticket to Ride. Football in the front yard.
I hope your day was filled with the special and the ordinary on Thanksgiving.
Did you know that Pennie at leaningapple is having a give-away??

I'm curious about your tablecloth. Are the names written on or embroidered? Is it an heirloom?
Posted by: quirkygranolagirl | November 29, 2009 at 11:15 PM
Well, its not an heirloom yet. My great grandmother had a family home up at Lake Tahoe and made a big tablecloth. When they had a dinner up there and invited friends, the special tablecloth came out. During dinner, the guests signed the cloth and my great grandma embroidered the names. Then my grandma and finally me. Mydad and step-momhave that one. I started this one on my wedding day. Everyone that came to my wedding signed it and it! I love it. Thanks for asking about it. xo Kyndale
