This was huge. I couldn't stop smiling and neither could he.
He waited until he was completely ready. We got this bike from a friend and fixed it up. It sat in our garage for a few months. Not that he could have used it in the winter. But, we had it ready.
He mentioned on Friday that he wanted to try and ride it. On Saturday, when I drove up the cul-de-sac after much needed time alone (I went and saw a movie all by myself!!), I saw Solomon flying around on his bike! Spring brings lots of good things. Congrats Solomon on your big accomplishment! Love you!!
Solomon! Congratulations!! I still have memories of riding my bike with my dad holding the back of the seat and running with me. I pleaded with him not to let go!
This is big news. I love these pictures!

Wow, congratulations to Solomon (and you!). Realising they let go of the bike and you're riding alone is such a great memory, and its the one i use when i'm scared but have to do something(dentist, driving lessons etc). Isn't it amazing to see them making their memories! And what a cool bike! xxx

I remember so well the first time I rode a bike. I think he's going to totally remember it. I like his orange bike too. I think orange is his color! Hope you are having a good day Lexie! xo Kyndale

oh that is such fun. i have not such fond memories of learning to ride my bike. your little solomon is so big! i look forward to family bike rides...years from now:) your family is like the next stage up from ours and sometimes i see what you all are doing and think...i can't wait. but then i remember that then i won't have my littles. grass is always greener:) i don't really wish the time to fly for real but biking...how fun! enjoy those lovely flowers and hope you got your wish about the soccer game:) love, pennie

This is so sweet. I still love watching the tape of the Jacob learned to ride. It just feels so amazing to see our kiddos achieve something that they set their mind too. Wonderful pictures
