summer days :: 17

Soccer!  If you can believe it, we are starting soccer again for the fall season.  Come September, we will be living and breathing soccer when all three of my kids will be on a team.  For now, Amelia is the only one practicing.  So, I can take her to the field, sit in my car and knit or read, walk around the neighborhood or just do nothing.  It feels really nice to have time to myself.

 

I've started an hourglass sweater from a pattern in this book. 

Other than soccer, I've been so busy keeping everyone in the house happy (including myself) by getting out for fresh air every day.  This leads leaves very little time on the computer (proofreading gets thrown out the window too!).  I've also been getting all the materials we need for homeschooling this year.  It's easy to be swept away in things coming up.  I have to remember to breath in the sweet smell of every day.
