I don't know why I'm feeling like posting so much lately. I just feel like I want to so, I'm going with it. A new camera helps out a lot. I've been struggling with why I blog and if I should do it at all. I will someday write it all down and share with you.
But right now I want to show you these pictures I took of us sledding this weekend. It's so nice to have a motivated husband, I swear. If it was up to me we'd hang out in our pajamas all weekend! I do believe that's why a family needs both parents! When one feels like crawling in a den and sleeping away the winter, the other can say, "Let's go sledding!!"
I love my new camera and can actually take multiple shots every second which is really fun to play with. Did you know that I had to time it just right in order to maybe get one action shot with my other camera? That was crazy making right there.
I showed my kids these shots this morning and they were giggling like crazy. I hope you like them too. But if not, I guess you just had to be there!
We found a spot up at Sky Tavern (for all you Reno folks).
WIPE-OUT!!
And next...this is what made the kids laugh like crazy!
HOLD ON HONEY!!!
I got some good shots of Eli wiping out. He then got up and yelled, "That was AWESOME!!!"
Kyndale, you didn't have to be there. I laughed too. Nice camera work.

To be honest, I had the most fun taking the pictures of my dog. He was so funny. xo Kyndale

Wasn't the snow fun? We got hit with 7 inches in Tennessee. It's unheard of for December. It just made the holidays perfect. I'm so glad to see you and your family enjoyed it as well. Love all the photos and congrats on your new camera.

Wow, is that a lot for you there? My kids would be in snow heaven if we got that much on the valley floor! Happy New Year Valarie!

What a blast! I love sledding.
And thanks for the Etsy link. Those are VERY cool!
Yes, we're cleaning house around here. Slowly, but surely getting out of all the Christmas stuff.
Glad you're enjoying your new camera!
Take care,

looks like SO much fun!
Does Zephyr love the snow as much as our little schnauzer? Cloe does this really funny 'seal' thing thru the snow. It makes me laugh.

He LOVEs the snow. It's weird that he loves it so much but he hates the water. It was so much fun watching him that day. He acts like he's not even cold but there's ice packed in his fur. We had to shave him down today because he was all matted. We have to comb him every day from now on. Does Cloe get matted?

Your new camera is great!
I know just what you mean. I know you and I have emailed about this, but one thing I have been noticing about my blogging is that I feel extra lame in that I am the only blogger I am aware of whose blog has significantly dropped in readership. My blog gets about half as many hits and probably a third the daily comments that it did about 10 months ago. I have noticed, but do I care. If so, why? One can get a little too cerebral about blogging, I think. Trying not to...
Hugs, Nicola
ps. I would miss you online tremendously if you quit blogging! Please don't!
